An iterview with Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan has been posted by Kaaos TV as the band was performing in Tallinn, Estonia.  see below..

Ian commented in the interview that he will be putting out some solo material as he has about 5 projects on the go.   He has about 30 songs he is working on in various states.. he has one project that he has finished recording with .. in his first ever band The Javelins .. from 1962 ... that will be out in August... the new material contains songs like Ray Charles and Buddy Holly and Howlin' Wolf and Chuck Berry and stuff like that, from that era
