PPSSPP should work fine if your device is jailbroken and running iOS 6, iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 9, or iOS 10. I am using an iPad Pro 9.7" jailbroken on iOS 10.2 with a PS3 controller using BTstack 1.1-1 and Controllers For All 1.7.4-1 (from Cydia).
