This was the first time I ran on snow covered track. There was 4 cm snow (1 1/2"). I tested the new Reebok outdoor runners and grip was fine on snow but not on ice on the way there. My theory that the shoes are marked with 12.9 because of winter use still stands: it was freezing outside that day and 12.9F means -10C. It was somewhere between -8C and -5C out, and the shoes soles did not harden up, but functioned well.
