DMK working president and leader of opposition M K Stalin wanted to raise the issue in the assembly. However, speaker P Dhanapal denied permission to Stalin to raise the issue as the high court was looking into it. "The I-T department has submitted the original files of former DGP Ashok Kumar to the court. The filed were found in V K Sasikala's room in Veda Nilayam. A copy was given to our advocate. The government should immediately remove the minister and the DGP," Thalapathi Stalin told reporters outside the assembly after staging a walkout.
