The oldest corporation in Japan was founded in 578 and the second oldest was founded in 718, says UN Special Advisor Takejiro Sueyoshi. As of today, we have 3,100 corporations that are over 200 years old. 
This was part of the Carnegie Council event "Sustainable Branding: A U.S.-Japan Corporate Dialogue" that took place on September 17, 2009.
