I was taking a look at a home at 1126 Ashland in Wilmette that had sold in just a week on the market when I met the owner of a neighboring home that was for sale. Richard owns 1104 Ashland which is also recently on the market. It's a 7-bedroom, 5 ½ bath, over 5,000 square foot Tudor reproduction built just 6 years ago. The exterior mirrors the classic style so perfectly that you might be deceived into missing the contemporary floor plan within. We chatted for a few minutes about the home and the neighborhood. The asking price for the home is $1,695,000 -- and the neighborhood is priceless. The home is listed for sale with Coldwell Banker and is scheduled for an open house on June 27.
