The Dragonslayer Armor is probably one of my favorite bosses on top of my  favorite area. Lightning resist is the most helpful when fighting him but you still have to watch for the weird vein dragons he has attack you in the middle of the fight. If you're into greatshields you can trade his soul for his shield that has 95% lightning resist, making his fight and any other lightning attack almost completely negated on a new playthrough.
