After a long very hard battle with cancer my mom Barbara Delevie Lost her battle with cancer . I felt that the hospital environment was not comfortable , warm and conducive to healing. After long negotiations with Tenent corp. , the owners of Tarzana hospital at that time, and a large number of corporate sponsors , we rebuilt and re opened the 3rd floor oncology ward at Tarzana hospital. Now and forever known as "The Barbara Delevie Project". The Barbara Delevie Project is complete with every comfort known to man. New beautiful beds , furniture , quilts, fresh roses everyday , aroma therapy , cd, dvd players , world wide radio, cable tv , Internet , art and music. This was to hopefully give "comfort and distraction" to future people struck by cancer.
