I think some of the media have it wrong. The #dontjudgechallenge #donthatechallenge #waynereillychallenge wasn't to mock or shame those who were not "conventionally good looking" but more along the lines that those who are labeled and look "ugly" could actually surprise you and be conventionally beautiful if they just applied some makeup. In other words, the mocking would be towards the fact that "conventional beauty" can be store bought.
