This is a song I have only heard sung by Tommy Makem and the Clancy Brothers. It is more or less the same song as the one mentioned in the first verse, namely 'The Jug Of Punch'. The first line and title of the song are also to be found in one of the verses in the song 'Spancil Hill'. I like it as it is unaccompanied giving much more freedom to the singer.
