SOTD for Friday, January 27, 2012 This song is probably my favorite all-time recording from the album Somebody Else's Troubles. It was written by Michael Peter Smith. Steve Goodman had such a rich and expressive voice that he really adds to the substance of the song. I added harmony through voice-over in iMovie and strummed my RainSong Black Ice guitar. I first heard this song played on 93WQFM in Milwaukee when my wife and I were first married in about 1973 and subsequently "acquired it" during the days of Napster.
