On the day before Veterans Day 2018, I go for a run on the Heritage Trial in Dubuque County, Iowa. I tried to hit exactly 11.11 miles to commemorate the 100th memorial of Armistice Day, but I think I ended up with 11.14. Then, after the run, I attended the New Vienna All Veterans Memorial with my family and in-laws.

Today's charity runner is Kim Rosen, who is running the 2019 Boston Marathon to support the Aredondo Foundation, an organization that provides suicide prevention support to our veterans.
