This recording was an impromptu session with my wife one winter night back in February 2004. Frankie began telling me the story of a strange event that happened back in the mid 1960s when she lived on Crow Island with her parents and siblings. While not so remote now days back then it was rather insular from the rest of Saginaw County, Michigan. A good place for such a strange story to take place. This is the story of the Deer-man, a half man, half animal that supposedly lived a life of solitude with his dad and mom. Frankie swears the story to be true and I have no reason not to believe her. Anyway I hope you enjoy. If you would like an audio CD of this story check out my Face Book page at, "Dug Relics and Treasures," where this an other great items are available. Lots of interesting relics and artifacts for sale.
