Alev Lenz is truly cosmopolitain. The 26-year-old,who is half Turkish and half German,says she has an oriental soul and an occidental mind . Currently she divides her time between Berlin,Istanbul and New York. Once the front woman of the rock band Alev,she's changed musical directions and become what she calls a storytelling,piano playing Fräulein . We caught up with her in Los Angeles,where she was busy networking at Lion Feuchtwanger's famous artists' residence Villa Aurora.
