I was playing around with the map code wondering if this area could be accessed like the unused cemetery area can. Turns out it's possible. Just activate the map code and get into a battle while standing on the River Devil.

This is what King's Tomb looks like in the FDS version. On the NES this normally inaccessible area lacks the red magic jar. It will be full of blue moas if you trigger a weak enemy encounter. For a strong enemy encounter two blue gerus will be included.

For the western NES release some changes were made to the cemetery southwest of Mido. King's Tomb was changed to a smaller, daylit area with an old lady NPC. A different version of the FDS King's Tomb does exist in the NES release. But it is slightly different. From the center of King's Tomb it is located three graves down and two graves left. The pillars are absent but the red magic container is here. It's just the grave. There are a couple of bots and a a red goriya.
