Dad shocked after finding more than 80 defects in newly-built home

Darren Harris, 53, is taking legal action against Persimmon Homes claiming he found 80 defects with his new build home in Wales due to 'shoddy' workmanship by the firm's builders. The civil engineer said his neighbours have been laughing at 'wonky brickwork' at the side of the house and uneven payment while he broke a toe while mowing the 'bumpy' lawn when he accidentally kicked an exposed drain cover. Persimmon said it was aware of the complaints and was trying to work with Mr Harris to find a 'satisfactory conclusion'.
