How to fix capturing blurry discolored faded Boomerang Instagram videos on Android

This video will show you how to fix capturing blurry, discoloured video when using the Boomerang for Instagram app on Android. If after posting your Boomerang video on Instagram, you notice that your video is unclear, with colours that are faded and washed out, there are two methods to remedy this for future Boomerang video captures:

1) Under the SETTINGS menu of your Android device, if under DISPLAY you have a sub-menu called FULL SCREEN APPS, should you uncheck the Boomerang and Instagram apps in this section, the problem is said to be resolved for future Boomerang captures. 

Unfortunately, not all Android devices have this option. My Sony Xperia C1904 did not. If your Android device does not have this option, then you should use the second method below:

2) Instead of opening the Boomerang app, instead open the Instagram app. Instead of using the standard post button (the plus [+] button), instead tap on either the YOUR STORY button in the upper left corner or on the CAMERA icon in the upper left corner. This method CAN be used to post standard Instagram posts to your feed and does not force you to post to Your Story. In the Your Story capture interface, under the shutter button (the main capture button) you can slide NORMAL mode to BOOMERANG mode. Shoot or capture your Boomerang video by holding the shutter capture button and release when you have done recording. Add stickers, art or text to your Boomerang video in-app if desired, and instead of posting said video to Your Story, elect to SAVE the Boomerang video to your device. Once the Boomerang video is saved to your device, close the Your Story capture screen and return to the main Instagram screen. On the Instagram front end main menu interface, tap the standard post button (the plus [+] button). Select the GALLERY option followed by selecting the captured Boomerang video to be uploaded to your Instagram feed.
