I have no idea what this is, nor whether it has any other purpose besides free loot, but the buff given to you when you enter is called 'Timewalker', which is supposed to be the new feature which hasn't been fully announced for Warlords.

This may be completely unrelated and just a happy coincidence, but the tower was kind of fun anyways.
