The writer of Girls has said rumours that Victoria Beckham would be making a cameo in one of the forthcoming episodes are not true. Lena Dunham, who also stars as angst-ridden wannabe-writer Hannah Horvath, said she would love to start a conversation with the former Spice Girl about an appearance. The 27-year-old said: "We would love to engage any conversation with her but I think those rumours have been a little overblown because people are so delighted by anything involving Victoria Beckham as they should be." Dunham has been on London with her co-stars for a premiere screening of the first episode in series three. Girls remains a big US and UK hit and the la series still has a Spice Girls connection. British actor Richard E. Grant is one of the new faces and although not many details are known about his character, it is thought he ends up having a relationship with one of the girls. Grant starred in the 1997 Spice World movie. Report by Ashley Fudge.
