Larry King was part of the Church of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, but was also a part of Liberty Disaster Relief and Fellowship of the Martyrs. In October of 2008, Brother Larry went to be with Jesus. He had a heart attack right after singing at the MoKan Gospel Music Association dinner. Larry hated this world and had begged God to take him home many times. We prayed about going to lay hands on him in the hospital - or even to go to the funeral and raise him from the dead - but the Lord was pretty clear that Larry would be REALLY mad and probably take his pointy old cowboy boots to us. It was our honor to be able to walk alongside him, even for just a little while.

This is ust one of the wild stories of God's love that we have to tell around here! For more radical writings and music and testimonies, visit http://www.FellowshipOfTheMartyrs.com
