Sanxion7 - Expect as viewed in FL Studio. A little Nexus use. The song sounds a little bare. Why is that? Because it was supposed to have more in it. I wanted to get my girlfriend at the time into what I was doing a bit, get her involved to foster some artistic inspiration (she was trying to get into painting at the time.) She had a lot to get off her chest and wanted to write something emotional. I had her speak her poem and wrote a song around it. She was quite unhappy with it when I presented it however, so I excluded it from the track and added a little filler. However, in the interest of preservation, I will also play for you that spoken stem. She has such a great voice for recording; what you hear is almost zero post-processing save for the minute delay+reverb added by the master track. It's a shame I didn't get to use it in the final production, but I respected her wishes and did not put it on the album. You can get this song and others from Electrum Malleus, pay-what-you-want, at https://sanxion7.com/album/electrum-malleus
