My answer is simple, if you have the Volume 3 Palette you probably don't need the Volume 4 palette since the shades are similar, but if you purchased the Volume 3 palette and used it up, then you will probably like and get a lot of use out of the Volume 4 Palette. If you still have the Volume 3 Palette and didn't get a lot of use out of it the Unlocked Palette contains a lot of different shades and powder types.
