The General Category is open for skilled foreign workers with at least two years of work experience within the previous five years. The experience has to be gained on paid, verifiable, relevant jobs. Work experience in Canada had to be obtained with proper permits. Eligible foreign workers need to have permanent full time job offers in skilled occupations -- NOC 0, A or B. The offer has to be approved and valid. If the foreign workers are already working the position approved by Opportunities Ontario, they have to be paid equal or more than the wage approved for that position. The applicants need to have legal status if they are already in Canada.
