Inspiration The short version is that I got caught in the 2008 recession. It is has been a slow climb, but I am slowly getting back on my feet. As I was talking to my oldest brother of how I was slowly being stripped of my material possessions, he encouraged me to write about it; so this is what I came up with.... Smile... One thing that is interesting about this song.... Well... Initially, I felt like the song was kinda whiney, but it turns out that was me communicating my pain. lol.... In either case, I learned to appreciate this song, but for a different reason. I also hope that you enjoy my donkeys and elephants metaphor. lol.... Enjoy.....
