Another thrilling out of focus video of me battoning with my prototype test cKc One knife from www(dot)sellyourknife(dot)com made by Kyley Harris in New Zealand. Blade : 01 Tool Steel (high carbon) Handle : Canvas Micarta I whittle down a dying sapling and batton the crap out of it to test the knives ability to process wood in an emergency. Wood such as this can be used as an improvised shelter, as kindling for a fire and to fashion self preservation tools such as spears or implements. The idea here is the knife has a role as a part of anyones EDC kit to have on hand in the event of an emergency, so that one has an edge in survival. But the knife is not so big as to be cumbersome or obtrusive or threatening looking, and can all but disappear in the pocket of the average pants or around the neck as a neck knife.
