In short the detailed graphics, sound and AI make the game very atmospheric and well worth playing, especially given the lack of decent single player PC games in recent times.

Note: gfx_maxfps 30 used to prevent microstuttering. This means the framerate is capped at 30FPS, although in practice at these settings the game will usually exceed that by quite a bit without the cap.
