Does primary school educate the students in a right way to be ready for 2018? Willem Wouda is a teacher and principal of a primary school. His passion for education is to ensure ambition and motivation among children, parents and teachers. He does this by, in addition to the 'normal' literacy and numeracy, organising many projects in which the school cooperate with companies from the region. This makes the job perspective visible for students and the learning meaningful. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
