DAYTON -- Halloween costumes are good for more than just free candy from your neighbors. Some restaurants are offering free treats and entire meals in spirit of the spooky holiday.Halloween evening is a time when most families eat a quick meal at home before hitting the streets in search of treats.Leaving most restaurants like a, well, ghost town.But a lot of national chains are fighting back by offering free eats in order to lure customers.Slip on your costume and start your morning off at Krispy Kreme.We love seeing everyone in their costumes,  Kettering Krispy Kreme Shift Manager Kevin Johnson rejoiced.Anyone of any age can have their pick of doughnut when in costume. And according to Kevin, folks take advantage.Oh yeah! People come in and we usually have a line around the door. It's a fun event, Johnson said Monday.Keep your costume on and pop in to Chipotle for its annual Boorito event between 4:00 and 10:00 pm on All Hallows Eve. You can get any meal on the menu for $3.It's way more than half off. It's anything you want for $3. As long as you're dressed up and we're going to be dressed up, it's going to be a fun time! Bobby Smith, Far Hills Chipotle employee, exclaimed.Red Lobster and the Olive Garden are offering up free meals for kids now through Thursday. The deal requires printing off this free coupon and purchasing an adult meal so your little ghost or goblin can eat on the house.
