The industry has a lot of double standards. The biggest ugliest one is how it handles women. For example notice all of the close to super model community managers? Do you know why companies do that? It's so the male populace is less likely to fry them. Another obvious flaw is game streaming. Females by far get favortism. Especially if the female is pretty or raunchy. Now the reason behind that is they get viewers. So what company wouldn't want them out there. The bad part of that is the female gamers are being exploited. (Not that they care) Because they get donations out the yin yang. But that still doesn't make it right at the end of the day.
