Footage from a wander along the grey and rainy December streets of Dresden during the Christmas season. Usually when I visit Dresden at Christmas, I see snow, snow and more snow, but this year sadly there was none. The walk begins on Freiberger Strasse, and goes past the new Zwinger Forum construction sight via the town centre Postplatz to the Zwinger. From here the walk goes by the royal palace, Semper Opera House and over Augustusbrücke to Neustadler Markt. The footage finishes at night with the Dresdner Striezelmarkt on Altmarkt Square.
