Ripple’s Swell conference is taking place today and tomorrow in San Francisco. Former US President Bill Clinton is today’s keynote speaker. September was a very good month for Ripple’s XRP as it was one of the very few altcoins that didn’t struggle and it finished the month up almost 80%. Correction update: According to coinmarketcap.com September Friday 21st and Sunday 30th were the best days XRP had during the month of September. 

Last week Ripple announced on its blog that the Siam Commercial Bank will be very the first the first financial institution on RippleNet to use its “multi-hop” feature.

This allows them to settle frictionless payments on behalf of other financial institutions on the network. Using multi-hop, SCB will be able to receive and forward on a payment without a bilateral relationship between the originator and beneficiary institutions.
