The 30/9.50 treadwrite recaps pulled the jeep to the top of a loose gravel slide. Gave the clutch a bit of a workout but in the end we fought her to the top of this cut. We were above the mining town of Summit in Alder Gulch and the cat road we clawed our way up lead to another huge mining cut but little else. Our altitude was someplace between 7000 and 8000 feet. At no point during the climb did I expect to make it to the top.
