Lake Speed of Joe Gibbs Driven gives us the rundown on their new line of engine oils specifically formulated for GM LS engines and Ford Modular Engines. Jessica Barton got the insight from Lake - who explained their two new oils. "LS30" which is a 5-30W Full Synthetic that Lake told us is specifically formulated for the needs of LS engines in the Camaro, CTS-V, and Corvette. For the Ford Modular enthusiast, Joe Gibbs driven has introduced the FR-20, a 5W-20, which is a difficult formula to make, according to Gibbs, but their NASCAR experience helped them create a high temp, high load capable oil filled with zinc additives.
