Hello Angling Adventurers! Today we are back on Lake Seminole for some pre spawn fun! February marks the beginning of our spawning season in North Florida/South Ga & no better place to go than Lake Seminole. There is love in the air if you are a Largemouth Bass! Seminole has thousands of acres of shallow back water sloughs and flats. Bass move into these areas starting in February even when the water temps are still in the 50's. Today we targeted big sloughs looking for new fish that have moved up shallow to feed and spawn. We focused on an area known to locals as Saunders Slough/4 ft Ditch. It is a massive funnel for spawning fish to come out of the main lake grass to find their place to reproduce. We were able to get bites throwing the LITL Boom Shad up shallow near the banks where males were already fanning out beds. Please enjoy the show.
