Today, I’m sharing the recipe of Dal Pakwan.
Sindh cuisine or sindhi recipes are popular for its balanced diet with more focus on protein on each diet. this holds good for each meal consumed for breakfast, lunch and dinner. one such protein filled snack mainly consumed for breakfast is dal pakwan recipe – a combo of dal recipe + fried puri.
Traditionally this combo of dal and fried puri is served mainly breakfast, but can also be served for brunch and evening snack. the recipe can be time-consuming, but certainly worth the effort.

- Open the Cooker, Once the pressure settles down and check the Dal has cooked well yet not mushy, Keep it aside.
Now, put oil in a Heated Wok.
- 10 minutes are over , open the dough and knead again. Pinch a Ball sized dough and flatten. Make a Poori by rolling slightly thin.
- Prick the Pakwan with knife / Fork to prevent puffing up while frying.
- Oil gets enough hot, Put Poories into it one, by one. Deep fry them on medium Flames till turn golden Brown and fried well from all sides. In Between Keep turning and pressing .
