March 25, 1999 - Carlos Boozer Jr. (eventually known simply as Carlos Boozer) was born in Germany but raised primarily in Juneau, Alaska. There, he became an McDonald's High School All-American, securing a full ride to Duke in the process. After three years with the Blue Devils, Boozer was drafted in the second round (35th overall) by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2002. He went on to become a two-time All-Star over the course of a 13-year NBA career.
