In wasteland the objective of the opfor and blufor is to fight eachother, capture bases, and complete missions. But if you decide to explore wasteland as an independent, you just do whatever you want within Arma 3. It's pretty great. I highly recommend you play Arma 3 wasteland with a buddy, it makes Wasteland much more enjoyable.
