KHANDALA : Early morning peaceful 'monsoon atmosphere'...

Khandala Railway Station, 6:30 am... I had reached the station by 6:15 am.. After walking the length of the platform, I decided to take a video and capture the silence, peace and greenery surrounding me.. I start by capturing the station board on platform number 3.. Then you can see the massive curve of the station facing towards the Mumbai side.. As I turn the camera, the bridge visible is the Mumbai - Pune Expressway with the early morning traffic of cars, buses and trucks.. Also beautiful pink cottages of the Marazban Sanatorium (for Parsis) form a nice contrast to the green grass.. Then coming back to the railway line towards the Lonavala side, the entrance to the tunnel (only for the first track) can be seen along with the 2 red signals.. Also on the other side of Khandala station is a beautiful hill with nice houses and lots of greenery.. Khandala is at its best during the monsoon, and for those of you who have not seen it, I hope you visit it after seeing this video.. I think I was the only person on the platform at that time..
