Thousands of weapons seized from schoolchildren

Axes, air guns and samurai swords are among more than two and a half thousand weapons that have been seized from schools in England and Wales over the last two years. New figures released under Freedom of Information requests revealed 1 in 5 incidents involved knives, and some of the children involved were as young as five.
