I came across this when trying to become record holders on specific tracks.
so go to rivals then choose B time trial class then go to silverstone national hover over it and click Y and go to the guy at the top that has a time off -00.05.00 seconds all you have to do is click on him set him as the rival then play the match in a B class so you can do as many laps as you want but everylap you do you will get 44 thousand so 
if u quit after one lap you will get 44k
after 10 laps 440k
after 24 laps 1 million credits
and so on
****WARNING****
1- You must be connected to the internet while doing this
2- Just one of you laps must be clean which means not hitting and dirt or walls just do one slow clean lap staying on the track then thats it you dont have to do any more clean laps just do lap after lap after lap. IF YOU DO NOT DO AT LEAST ONE CLEAN LAP YOU WILL NOT GET TONS OF CREDITS AFTER YOU QUIT RACE
