Notes from L.P.P.
Beginning stamper supply list

Black waterproof ink for placing you stamps (archival is best)

Water based ink for coloring in stamps (Distressed inks were used in the video, but you can use a tombow brush pen or even a Crayola washable marker)

Acrylic block for your stamps and to use as an ink palette. (Get one that's bigger than your biggest stamp)

Waterbrush (many different ones available, Jane Davenport  has twin pack at Michael's for $7 regular price)

Stamps 
Stamps come is many different forms. For planner stamping I recommend clear acrylic stamps because you can see through them to help with perfect placement.
The sky is the limit on brands and designs. Here are a few of my favorites:
Happy planner
Dylusions  (Michael's, JoAnn, Hobby lobby)
Tim Holtz (available at almost any craft store that has a stamp section)
Lawn Fawn (I get this brand on Amazon only, cheapest place I've seen)

Suggestions:
Don't sweat perfections, like in any watercolor messy is beautiful.

 When using happy planner paper, go easy on the amount of water you are using. These pages are not really made to withstand a ton of liquid.  Have paper towels handy to soak up any excess  water quickly before is soaks into the paper. If the paper gets too wet it will begin to break down and pile or fray... 

Have Fun! 
Practice on old planner pages.
Pick up an inexpensive watercolor pad, stamp and color some images until you feel better confident enough to try it on your planner.
