Another long post so please bear with me.

If I had to name one musician/band/album/singer who was my biggest inspiration as a young Metalhead, the answer would be Devin Townsend with Strapping Young Lad and the album would be City. I loved the fact that I was one of the few Metalheads back in 1998/99 who even knew who Devin was and that SYL was a band. Of course soon enough his music blew up and every second cool metal head was listening to his music. Of course I am so happy for Devin because he is a genius but I hated how his popularity was like the new 'cool' thing at the time. Anyway here is my favourite section of my favourite song DETOX. I can't count the number of times I heard his song and sang my heart out while listening to it. I am not even embarrassed to say I used to mosh with my Godrej steel cupboard to this song, like run and bash myself into it. Anyway I hope I did justice to Devin. ❤️
