The Esicoo smart plug has one job and does it well.  It'll turn whatever you have plugged into it on and off.  There's a button on the side for manual control which can also be used to reset the device.  Get the app for your phone and you can turn it on or off remotely, anywhere in the world.  You can also configure it for a scheduled time to turn on or off, and set a timer so it will turn off after a certain amount of time.  If you have a voice assistant, you can set it up for use with the Amazon Echo or Google Home device so it can be voice controlled.  Very handy for a lamp in the bedroom that's out-of-reach; you can climb into bed and turn it off by your voice without having to get up!

Setup is very easy, the process flows very nicely and there's no real question about what to do next.  The plug handles loads up to 10 amps at 120 volts AC.  That'll handle a small wattage heater (up to 1200 watts) or even a small air conditioner of about 5000 BTU.  

The plug casing itself is a little larger than I'd like.  Not a deal breaker, for a couple of reasons:
1.  If plugged in, you won't be able to fit a grounded plug into the other wall outlet, however, a non-grounded plug will fit just fine.
2.  There is such an invention as a short extension cord, usually about 6 inches.  The cord itself has a standard plug that won't interfere with the other outlet, and some even feature a replacement outlet on the back of the plug.  Great thing to have because you probably have a similar situation in your home now.

All in all it's a great deal, and setup was a breeze.  Adds a lot of flexibility and convenience to your ever-smartening home.
