Even as a child, Eva Pauser knew that she wanted to be a wine grower. She is a pioneer in the business, because female vintners are very rare. The 24 year-old learnt her skills from her father and decided to specialise in quality red wine, which she grows in Flonheim in the western Germany. Eva Pauser was also crowned wine queen in her area, and felt honored to be promoting the wines of her region. Now she wants to reach the top with her own fine wines, such as Merlot and pinot noir. The many awards that she has received for her wine indicate that this self-assured vintner is well on her way. A portrait by Miltiades Arsenopoulos.
