I've heard that rural roads in Costa Rica are pretty rough and my flight landed fairly late so I decided not to drive 4+ hours in the dark to my Airbnb. Instead, I booked a room at the Holiday Inn in San Jose. Since they were overbooked, they put me in the presidential suite! WHAT?
