The digital era taking place within the transport sector has created a new global point of reference for intelligent mobility innovations - a far cry from the once traditionally capital role of the automotive industry. One important case can be found in the State of Israel. In 2010, it confirmed its objective to reduce crude oil consumption by 60% within 2025. And they are not alone: attention and investment to the field of alternative fuels has become more compelling than ever. This is demonstrated by the eight global Research & Development centers dedicated to alternative fuels that have been established in recent years. The main players behind this disruptive change in the transport sector converged in Tel Aviv for two days at the fifth edition of the Fuel Choices and Smart Mobility Summit.
