Such a beautiful game. I was a little skeptical about the gameplay from watching the videos. Either they didn't know how to play or what, but the game is so much fun. I never felt the on screen prompts shown at E3 were QTE because they weren't. The combat is similar to assassins creed and batman arkham series. A QTE is a quick timed event. It takes control of the game and you watch until a on screen prompt appears that you have to hit in order to progress. none of that is present in Ryse. WHen QTE happen you have no control over the game only to press the correct button when prompt to. Those on screen prompts were there to actually help the gamer know "oh I can execute him and which buttons to press" nothing more. The fighting which even I was kind of skeptical about until I played it for myself. Its fun and fluid. It felt right and smooth
