Welcome to Mega Man X5, the 5th installment in the Mega Man X series. Also the game responsible for turning me into such a huge Mega Man nerd. Originally released on the Sony Playstation (as well as on the PC), but has also found its way on the Mega Man X Collection for the Playstation 2 and Gamecube more recently. I'll be playing the Gamecube X Collection version in these videos. In our first episode, I ponder on why in most gameplay demos of Mega Man games (including this game), the player seems to have no idea what they're doing. Then we check out the training stage, where we learn how to play a Mega Man X game essentially while also demonstrating the Ultimate Armor for X and Black Armor for Zero. Next time, we'll start the game for real! This video along with the raw gameplay version of this video basically serves as a prelude episode, and in a way a test to gauge interest in a commentated video over a gameplay video.
