It is named after the village of Ranakpur which is located in the Pali district of Rajasthan.
The 14707/14708 Ranakpur Express presently has 1 AC 2 tier, 3 AC 3 tier, 13 Sleeper Class & 6 General Unreserved coaches. As with most train services in India, Coach Composition may be amended at the discretion of Indian Railways depending on demand.

Since Western Railway switched over to AC traction in February 2012, it is now hauled by a WAP 5 or WAP 4E OR [ WAP 7 ] from the Vadodara shed until Ahmedabad Junction after which a WDP 4 , [ WDP 4D ] [ WDP 4B ] from the Bhagat ki Kothi shed takes over until Bikaner.
14707 Ranakpur Express leaves Bikaner Junction every day at 09:30 hrs IST and reaches Bandra Terminus at 09:40 hrs IST the next day.
14708 Ranakpur Express leaves Bandra Terminus every day at 15:05 hrs IST and reaches Bikaner Junction at 15:35 hrs IST the next day.

Bandra Terminus - Bhagat Ki Kothi Humsafar Express is a express train belonging to Western Railway zone that runs between Bandra Terminus and Bhagat Ki Kothi. It is currently being operated with 19043/19044 train numbers on weekly basis.
