History lessons in Ukrainian high schools - what are they like more than 20 years after collapse of the Soviet Union? Ukraine is a very special country because there is a controversial historic heritage, between the soviet "memory" , the heroes of World War 2 and the national Ukrainian "memory" that symbolizes the independence of the country. Learning World visits a school in Kiev where we follow a history class given by a teacher who worked during the soviet era. Then, we go to Lviv to film a history class, in the western part of the country where the Ukrainian patriotism was born.
